Seeing this photo again reminds me of how lovely spring was. *sigh*.

I concur with my previous statement.

The foil didn't last, Fern sleeps on the sofa when we're not about but is always very careful to never let us see her on it!

I miss the lovely garden. I hope we can reinstate it next year.

The bread tree. A rare species, indigenous to the Peranzubuloe district of Cornwall, it flowers only once every 50 years and yes, its fruit are doorstop slices of granary bread.

If I recall correctly, I'd set up my tripod to take photos of visiting birds. I'm not sure I actually managed to take any photos of them though.

I've reread my description several times and I don't think it makes sense.

I just don't manage to bake as much as I used to. I blame the house rebuild and the fact that our builders, who I used to make cakes for, have gone too.

I do like this photo too. Taken on the L4.

I don't usually work in my car, parked in a layby on the A30 but today I did!

This photo just makes me cross now. My then boss was always running late for everything and this was the reason I sat in a layby for half an hour waiting for him to turn up and hand some stuff over to me. I hate tardiness, although it's such a good word.

I like the wavy form of the corrugated steel which contrasts with the engineered bolt heads. Taken on the L4 I believe.
