If I recall correctly, I'd set up my tripod to take photos of visiting birds. I'm not sure I actually managed to take any photos of them though.

I just don't manage to bake as much as I used to. I blame the house rebuild and the fact that our builders, who I used to make cakes for, have gone too.

This photo just makes me cross now. My then boss was always running late for everything and this was the reason I sat in a layby for half an hour waiting for him to turn up and hand some stuff over to me. I hate tardiness, although it's such a good word.

15/10/08
Truro Cathedral is a great hefting and quite beautiful neo gothic building but sadly it lacks a grand setting. From this angle it does look like it's sprouting out of a concrete carbuncle carpark. In reality, it is wedged in between shops and other commercial premises with no gardens or land around it to separate it from the mish mash of buildings that make up the city of Truro.

30/09/08
Self portraits are, by the very nature of them, hard to capture. I hate having my photo taken, so to take a self portrait and to have to look at it afterwards is quite excruciating. So there's usually a dog in the photo to soothe that process. This one had his head rammed in the small gap between the headrest and the side of the car. We were also travelling at the time so there were many misfires and vibrated shots. I'm actually quite pleased with this.
